Education
Education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking cycles of poverty and creating opportunities for the next generation. CCDO is dedicated to promoting access to quality education, particularly for young women and girls who are most at risk of dropping out due to child marriages, gender-based violence or financial challenges.
Our education programs include advocacy for children’s right to education, construction of school facilities in underserved areas and provision of school materials such as exercise books, uniforms and bursaries. We also support early childhood development (ECD) initiatives that prepare children for formal education, giving them a strong foundation for future learning.
By addressing barriers to education, we are helping to ensure that every child—especially girls—has the chance to complete school, achieve their dreams and positively impact their community.
