A Freelancer with 7 years of experience coordinating projects in international organizations. Her recent role as a Rise Up Consultant involved managing 8 grantee projects on ending child marriages.  She was a focal point for Rise Up’s ENGAGE activities in Malawi and the main contact for ENGAGE Champion organizations. She started out her career as a teacher in rural Malawi where she mentored and supported both girls and boys to excel in their academics and acted as a role model.

She also worked as a District Coordinator for a sanitation project where she was involved in the promotion of sanitation including menstrual hygiene management in communities and schools. She has 7 years of experience working with communities in addressing development issues that affect them, especially in education and health. Patricia holds a degree in Education from the University of Malawi and is currently pursuing her postgraduate studies in Development Studies at the same university.
